I read this ad in the paper:”XYZ institute initiates IIT coaching from Std8” . The reason cited was the lack of time for students to prepare for IIT at +2 level, given the no. of other tuitions that they attend. So yours truly had this wonderful idea…

Am opening a unique coaching center that I bet can beat all others. It’s a coaching center for expectant mothers. No, wait before u pooh-paah my (ig)noble idea let me elaborate. Those of us who have ever read the Mahabharata would remember a character Abhimanyu (Arjuna’s son ) learning the technique of warfare in his mother’s womb. So I just happened to borrow that idea. If a simple conversation was enough for him to imbibe the highly advanced rules of penetrating the Chakravyu, then imagine the type of knowledge a kid can have if the mother is made to do IIT level math all day!

An IIT package includes an iPod with all the formulas stored in it, all the IIT case materials that provide the dual purpose of studying and exercising (weight –lifting) , knitting patterns with all the mathematical formulae (in exciting designs) & also a tonic to help the mothers digest all this (and also retain their sanity).

This way the parents will themselves be able to ensure that their offspring gets into IIT no matter what. What’s more, it won’t even matter if the child has other hobbies in future, ‘coz he would already be ready for IIT & so free to pursue other (read worthless) activities including sleeping, eating, playing (in case of extremely exceptional students only), dating & bathing etc. There will be less no. of student suicides also, though I can’t guarantee so in the case of the (hapless) mothers.
